What is NW Natural Energy Efficiency Program

The NW Natural Energy Efficiency Program is a collaborative program bringing energy efficiency upgrades and literacy to Proud Ground homeowners.

These upgrades not only reduce homes’ environmental impact but also directly benefit homeowners by:

  • Lowering energy costs and improving home comfort

  • Enhancing home durability and resilience against climate impacts

How it works

The NW Natural Energy Efficiency Program is designed to bring significant energy upgrades to your home.

Here’s what participating homeowners can expect:

  • Energy literacy education to interested households

  • Energy upgrades to at least 5 to 7 homes that meet the following requirements:

    • The home must be located within the NW Natural service territory (See the map).

    • The household’s income must be <200% of the federal poverty line or up to 80% AMI.

    • The home must have an existing gas service line installed, as the primary heating equipment is/will be fueled by natural gas.

  • Proud Ground will carefully assess all applications and notify selected homeowners.
