Down Payment Assistance Grants
In addition to opportunities to buy a new or existing Proud Ground home, Proud Ground administers down-payment assistance grants from cities and counties for homebuyers who want to purchase a market-rate home. These homes become part of Proud Ground’s Community Land Trust.
Each grant has its own eligibilty qualifications and restrictions for applicants.

Steps to Get Started
Get in the System
Complete the Intake Form and, at the bottom of the form, select a Free Information Session to attend. You will receive a confirmation with the link and instructions.
Attend the Information Session.
Housing Counseling Form
Upload required documents and review disclosures provided in the next email you will receive.
Pay the $100 non-refundable registration fee.
Eligibilty Review
Schedule your one-on-one appointment using the calendar link that will be emailed to you.
Meet with your Proud Ground Counselor for eligibility review.
Buying a Home
Notify your Counselor by email to express interest in a home.
Apply for a mortgage with a Proud Ground Participating Lender.
Complete a Home Purchase application.
Select a Real Estate Agent.
