Biography:
Martin's story is one that truly has come full circle. His passion for affordable housing is deeply personal—he grew up in an affordable housing community and shared the dream of becoming a first-generation homeowner with his sister. That dream became a reality in January 2021. Then, Martin was elected to the Proud Ground board, a position he held for two and a half years as a homeowner representative. And now he’s helping others achieve the same journey as a Proud Ground staff member since July 2025.  

With years of experience in retail and marketing, combined with his lived experience, Martin knows how to connect with homeowners to ensure their long-term success. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Marketing and a Certificate in Real Estate Property Management from Portland State University.
