Information Session
Want to learn more about Proud Ground’s homebuying program that helps income-qualified households own a home for about the same as rental prices?

Homebuyer Education Class
When buying a home through Proud Ground, you are required to complete an 8-hour homebuyer education class prior to closing on your home.
After you have completed the class, meet with your homeownership counselor. Plan to provide information about your homeownership class participation in that meeting.
Take the class offered by Proud Ground
You may choose to take the homebuyer education class offered by Proud Ground through our vendor, Framework. This is an asynchronous class, which means it is pre-recorded, so you can take it at your convenience.
The course fee is covered through your Proud Ground registration fee.
Take a class through another organization
Several organizations offer the homeownership class, which counts toward the requirement. Any associated fee/cost to attend is not covered by your Proud Ground registration.

Note: If you are receiving funds through the Washington State Housing Finance Commission, the required Homebuying Education Class must be completed through a source other than Framework.

Selling Your Home (Resale Formula)
Proud Ground’s Real Estate Broker, Undra Adams, will provide an overview of how to sell your home to another income-eligible buyer, review the resale formula, and answer your questions.
Register to attend this virtual event, and be sure to use the drop-down menu to select the date(s) you wish to attend. You will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link.
