FREE Replacement of electrical heating systems & appliances
Under Community Action Partnership of Oregon’s (CAPO) Income Based Energy Efficiency Pilot program you may be eligible to receive a heat pump installed to replace your existing electric heating system or a replacement appliance such as a refrigerator. If approved there will be no cost to you for the energy efficiency upgrades. Please note, however, that if your home needs repairs in order to be eligible for the program you may need to cover the cost of repairs if you choose. This is a pilot program. Applications will be reviewed on a first come first served basis and funding is limited. In order to participate in this program you must:
• Own your home • Income qualify • Have Portland General Electric (PGE) supplied electricity as your primary heat source
